Due to numerous requests and the logic behind the requests, I have changed the next 3 main tournament events @ Duke's into Open Doubles (the 9th, 16th, and 23rd). I recognize that not all of us are going, and some may not be excited about 3 Opens in a row. However, this is to help our player base get ready for Vegas.
In addition, I am adding a new event for this months 5th Friday (the 30th). The event was described to me as Pick Your Poison, by Mike Carey (I believe him and Bryan Hendricks developed the idea). Basically, whoever gets the first option picks two people that play together...but NOT yourself. Meaning, you pick your opposition...so, its basically the reverse of Pick-Your-Partner. I have also added Goalie's Delight to the event to make it even more of a "poison" consideration.
Not sure how well it will go until we actually play the event, but lets try it out. One thing I am having difficulty deciding is the entry fee for the event. I could see it being a $10.00 for all event, or as a $10/$7 event. Thus, I am asking for some feedback and then I will make a final choice.

I like the pre-Vegas plan, and I LOVE the "Pick Your Poison" idea. LOL

I vote for level entry fee...maybe $10 each. Only because I think the higher level players wont have any advantage since everyone will try to pair them with a lower level player.

You "LOVE" all of my ideas Billy, so much that you wear Depends because of how much they scare the crap out of you. "LOL".
Jesse - Should be $10 for everyone since it's more or less a draw.
Chris - It's much, much more treacherous than that  Many of the Duke's players, i.e. "higher level", will be in Vegas that weekend, so have no fear
