Here are the rules for two ball rollerball. We are only playing 1 ball rollerball tomorrow however we will apply the rules as written for single ball situations.
31.3 Two-Ball Rollerball Two-Ball Rollerball is a specialty event that is played with two balls served simultaneously to begin play.
31.3.1 Time Limits - There is a ten second time limit per rod and the ball may not be pinned or stopped for more than one second. - If a ball is pinned or stopped for more than one full second with two balls in play, both balls shall be served again. If there is only one ball in play, it will be served by the opposing team. - A shot may be scored directly from a pinned or stopped position if done immediately and within the one second time limit.
31.3.2 Serving the Ball - If there is a serving hole present, each forward shall serve a ball through the hole on the count of three. Both balls should hit the playfield within one second of each other. - If no serving hole is present, both defensive players shall simultaneously release the ball from the near corner of the goalie area within one second of the count of three. - If a ball goes off the table without any goals being scored, both balls shall be served again. Otherwise, the team scored upon shall serve the remaining ball.
31.3.3 Scoring - If each team scores a goal, then neither team receives a point. Two balls are served again. - If a team has scored the first ball, they may stop play any time they have control of the second ball and take one point. If a team elects to take the point, two balls are served to begin the next point. - A team that scores both goals gets two points and two balls are served again to begin the next point. - A shot that goes "in and out" does not count as a goal scored in Two-Ball Rollerball and play shall continue.

I would advise using Arizona Foosball League rules for this game. The rules for specialty games in the ITSF rule book are incomplete and inadequate in a number of ways. This is especially true for 2 ball roller ball and maybe even more so for one ball roller ball since the game isn't included in the book at all. We've used many of these games in our league for years so we've addressed many of these issues and nuances there. In most cases, the adjustments made in the AFL rule book were established after speaking to ITSF officials and pro masters in an effort to come to the best resolutions.

Just read those rules and my interpretation is exactly the same as my interpretation for the AFL rules. The AFL rules for 1 ball roller ball just say ITSF rules. The only possible difference is the stopped ball. I will go with the ITSF version. If a ball is pinned or stopped and then shot within the 1 second time limit it is good.

There are differeneces, and there may be arguments if they aren't addressed.
The reference to ITSF rules refer to foosball in general, NOT 1 ball rollerball, as there are no such rules.
In addition, our league rules for 2 ball rollerball address and resolve several problems in the ITSF rules. Issues that, IMHO, must be resolved for any kind of competitive play - and yet never have been. edited by BillyBoy on 4/28/2016

Okay up until now I've been posting just from general memory about the rollerball situation in the past. But now you got me to look at the rules verbatim again. LOL
Yes, your interpretation of AFL rules for 1 ball seems straightforward, but there is a subtlety concerning stopped ball rules defined under "pinned balls". I will clarify this by editing the rule to say "standard ITSF rules with the inclusion of stopped/pinned ball violations".
The other distinctions apply to 2 ball only.

Nice of you guys to mention the league rules and then not say what they are regarding the stopped ball situation. Mind enlightening those of us that don't have a copy of the league rules lying around? Also, how is the ball served in one ball roller ball?
