Hey foosers.....Dukes will be hosting a double event this Friday. We will start with handicap single elimination singles at 6:30 PM. Best 3 of 5 games. Beginners score 5 points, Amateurs score 6, Experts score 7 and Pro's score 8. If you are both the same rank games will be played to 5. Entry fee is 5 bucks.
Doubles, which will start at 9PM, will be a byp/dyp (modified shake and bake) event. If you bring your partner you each pay 15 dollar entry fee and will be seeded. If you draw your partner you only pay 7 dollars and will not be seeded. Highest placing draw team, not in the money, will get an additional 20 bucks back. The doubles event will be goalies delight. A special dead-eye dick award of two free Dukes entries will be given to the individual that scores the most goals from the back, so make sure to keep track. Scores from back do not need to be clean and must be reported after each match. If goals are not reported before the next match begins player will not receive credit for the goals in the prior match.
Here is the list for rankings....please note TD reserves the right to rank people not covered by the specifics below, of if they appear to be misranked.

I'll start the rank bitching and moaning. Chris, Steve, Mike L, and Bork all beat me
regularly,
along with ALL of the listed Pros except for Brad Chamberlain ;p ... take that for what you will. Additionally, League rating is kind of an unfair way to measure
local tournament Pros.
I've been playing league for about 3 years now and Dan Held is the only one on that list that played a full season. My point being if any of the listed pros played league while I played, I certainly wouldn't be a 7.0.

I feel your pain Ricky, but in a different way. See, I'm in a league above the rest... It hurts to be listed among those "others". But I realized how lonely and agonizing it is at the top. Now, I play to the level that allows me the most "friends". Say what you will about the rankings we all have. Some of us are where we are because, let's face it, the rest of you would just be fighting for second... And a new best friend

I tried so hard to get Friday off so I could play. Sadly, I could not. I will be able to swing by around midnight and hang a bit and play some pick-ups if anyone would be willing.
