I am the 2009 League Stud. Even though I had my sites set on this honor the whole time I have to admit that without my teammates, I would not have done it. Look at the stats: low in singles, low in forward shootout, and did I even win one goalie war? So all things considered, I won only when I was playing as a teammate. I am a Teammate.

I applaud the leagues for promoting the most important aspects of foosball: getting new players involved, giving all players the opportunity to learn and practice, giving us all an extra social outlet to build friendships, and giving all of us a chance to bond with our partners. Bond or lose, as I see it.

So for this season I wish to thank Tom Husband and Scot McCleland for supporting me when it counted most and encouraging me when the game seemed lost.
