First, everyone needs to be aware that Duke's has changed their operating hours. They have decided to close at 1 AM on Friday nights (along with other changes that mean little in relation to foos). Thus, it is HIGHLY important that everyone is there by 8:30 pm. This should be the norm in the first place, but now there is no choice but to enforce the start time. So, please keep this in mind in the future.

Due to the time constraint, I will be looking for a new venue to host future tournaments on Friday nights. Suggestions are welcome, though I am highly biased towards trying to find a location in the Tempe area as it is the de facto center of the Phoenix Valley these days. Yet, to clarify, Friday will remain on the East side of the valley...so, please do not worry about that.

Finally, I believe that Tournament Directors need to be held to a higher level of accountability. Certain actions that occurred on Friday, August 17th, left me with a firm belief that corrective actions are required. With that in mind, I have decided that a 30 day suspension from Duke's tournament play is warranted for myself. There are a plethora of explanations for the events that occurred, yet there are no excuses.

I apologize for my behavior, and will endeavor to not repeat such behavior again in the future.
