Funny how there was no real advertisement for FoosBowl 6. Usually it's a singles/BYP tournament. Guess you guys got tired of the Pinalyzer and Zeke winning this thing!

Zeke- Foosbowl is the league championship match- its not related to the phx/tuc semi-monthly tourney, although Billy has run it on the same day as the phx/tuc tourney in the past.

JB,
The last 5 foosbowls had the same format. League stuff early, then afterwards Open Singles and BYP. And it wasnt the Tucson/Phoenix torunament. Usually a few of us go to the Foosbowls, but this year
there was no mention of it and there was no open events.

Right, it always seemd to work out that way, with league ending before a Tuc/Phx tourney in Phoenix, but with the Tucson/Phoenix tourney in Tucson this weekend, it didn't work out that way. Most of the league people don't play in the regular dyp/byps, so I doubt they would want to drive to Tucson just for the league championship.

You are confused. I think only Foosball V happened to be scheduled the same as Tucson/Phoenix. Before that all the Foosbowls were somewhat of a descent size tournament and some of us from Tucson typically went to phoenix to play. Last year for Foosball 4, John and I went to it and it was not a Tucson/Phoenix weekend. Also the Tucson/Phoenix challenge has not been around since Foosball 1, 2, (maybe even 3). Anyway, I would have considered going to it again this year if I would have known about it since most likely i wont go to the Tucson/Phoenix tourney this weekend.
