I'm sure that all of you veteran foosers out there get excited whenever you hear the legendary name "Arnold Ortiz". A master of foosball trickery/treachery (not to mention holder of the world's fastest pull kick), Arnold was a regular on the Phoenix foos scene for a long time, before going into exile in 2005.
However, Nick Bourdos managed to locate the infamous "Elwood" last week, and I talked to him yesterday. He says his days at the monastery are nearly over, and he plans to revisit the Phoenix foosball scene very soon. He plans to first visit the Mesa MNF tournament in order to get his juices flowing again, but did not say when...
Just thought you might like to know

Hey everyone...any Arnie visits yet...tell him "HI" for me. Funny thing I went a house foos party in BFE Illinois last year and I was BSng with this guy and told him I moved STL from PHX. His eyes got really big and he asked something like "Have you played Arnold Ortiz?"...he has a nasty pull kick. Apparently the guy went to school in the Valley and played at Hazelwoods for a summer. So Legendary Arnie pull kick has made as far as South Central IL...I'm sure further but thats all I can confirm. Hope everyone is doing well...CYA!!!
