John -
Are you not doing the singles this time? It has always been a part of the challenge.

Is it really a good idea to have the PHX-TUC challenge on memorial weekend?

Brad,
With just the 3 tables we were concerned about getting out of there on time. Maybe we can start earlier, I will let you know, but for now just doubles.
Azrocket,
We didn't have many options and so for some it will be better and for some it will be worse. I hope the date works out for more people than it does not work for.

Even with three you should only encounter a problem if there is a huge turnout. We only had three at the last tourney in Phx and finished on time. I can bring my table if need be just let me know. I have a t3000 as well, it is the home model, but it has the good rods and plays great. I just need some help setting it up and tearing it down.

We have decided after much input from many players to postpone the Phoenix/Tucson Challenge due to the conflict with the memorial day holiday.
Thanks to all that emailed and texted their comments, We really appreciate the communications.
We will be looking at a date in early June to run the tournament and will also look at the possiblity of adding singles.
Stay tuned for more information in the near future.
