Hey guys,
I am looking for places to play in Chandler, Ahwatukee, South Tempe area. Are there any bars that have good tables on my side of town?

Hey Curt -
Check out the button on the left menu 'Places to Play'; that will show you everything including maps, etc.
Currently the Friday night tournament at Cactus Moon is popular. Monday at Main St. is hit or miss right now. Both Duke's and Chasers in Scottsdale have good tables for pickup games, but no regular events. We've had a good Saturday night tournament for the last few years on 40th St., but that location just closed last month. We're working on getting some more stuff going in the near future...
Also, remember to click the "Leagues" button as well and get on that sign-up sheet! edited by BillyBoy on 5/19/2011

Curt, There are so few places to play anymore! If you find a table anywhere in your area please post it here so we know, OK?

Hey GrayKat,
The only table I know of that is no listed on here is the Tornado table at Mr. G's on University Drive just west of ASU's campus. We play on that table some at lunch bc I work near by. It is not coin operated and has no overhead lighting. There is a sign that says 25 cents a game but if your drinking or eating you can play for free.

Curt,
Cool! Thanks!
Cactus Moon and Main Street Billiards are both just east of Campus. Just East of the 101.
Sometimes on Fridays I'll drive over the 4peaks for a 'burger and a HopKnot then head on to Cactus Moon for the tourny. I hear now there are tournys at CM on Monday nights as well.
For just knocking around fun there seems to be very few places for pickup games. I'm out playing at the Dubliner in North Phoenix two or three nights a week, usually Sunday and Wednesday 'cause that's when Jerry the cook gets off work. He's a fooser.
Hope to see you out playing!
Most of us have our own tables so we just don't get out too much.
If anybody else knows of some places with local players chime in here, OK?

Curt - what is the condition of the table at Mr. G's? If it's in good shape, I'll list it on the "Places to Play" page.
-- You've been administered.
