I read that at an upcoming tournament, there would be several T3000 tables and a few T2000 tables upgraded to T3000 standard. What does that mean? What specifically is upgraded to make a table T3000 standard? ~ Dave

Hi Dave -
The t3000 tables are the new standard that tornado produces. The differences between the tables are as follows.....
The men have some minor changes in the foot. The bearings are a bit tighter and slimmer so when executing a wall pass the ball does not slip by your man so much. The side strips are not raised and sloped as much as they were on the t2000 making it easier to control balls off the wall and shoot bank shots
There may be a few other changes that I omitted.
When upgrading you buy a kit and replace all the old parts with the new t3000 parts and walla, you have an upgraded t2000.
Hope that helps.

Upgrade kit comes also with the latest plastic handles. Big improvment as they have a standard weight and are grippier than the old plastic ones.

wooden handles had a big disadvantage...their weight was from 1 ounce to 3.5 ounces all different ...every rod could have hit differnet. Plastic now is around 3oz. much more consistent from rod to rod!!!
