 Arizona had numerous people participating in the IFT World Championships this Labor Day Weekend. The people I can definitely say were there ( I might be missing a few) were: Rissa Veloso, Phil Schraefer, Janet Blanco, Dan Fiederlein, Daniella Avalos, Vincent Fiederlein, Kathy Nethery, and probably a few more. Great representation from Arizona. Two of the players listed have returned to Arizona as World Champions! Daniella and her partner picked up first place in the Women's Doubles Amateur event and Vincent Fiederlein placed first in Rookie Singles. Big congratulations to both Daniella and Vincent for their achievements. Huge fields (somewhere in the neighborhood of 175 players in Rookie Singles) and tough competition. Some absolutely amazing foosball matches. Congratulations to the two newest World Champions!
