7/1/2017 Topic: Duke's Transparency July 1rst Report Jesse Rhode Administrator	First and foremost, with everything that is going on with the El Jimador events, I wish to make it absolutely clear that there will be no more funds added to the August 25th DYP Event, as I have decided to cap it at $500.00 (extra money added to pot by Brad C and Jesse R). Yes, a bit rude, but I need some monetary responsibility during the next 2 months. We did not quite get to that point as of yet, but we soon will at any rate, so no worries. In addition, I am considering allowing others into the tournament that fall short of the 16 necessary events...but, it will be for a substantial fee that would increase based upon how much you fall short of the necessary 16. This is, by NO means, a certainty...It is simply something that was brought up to me last night that I need to discuss with others already qualified for the event. Anyways, once again I have the attendance charts for everyone to peruse. I did make some changes to it recently in order to simplify things for myself. Of the most interest, is the color coding. Green means good to go, yellow is 1 event away, and pinks are those that still have a shot at hitting 16 events. As you can see, there are only 18 people that have a shot at being in the tournament at this time (with 8 being dependent upon making future events). This number is why someone suggested I open it up a bit for those that are just outside the margin for a fee. All that being said, these are the things that are on my mind...and all those that are color coded can expect to hear from me in the near future about opening it up a bit for a fee...or not.

We would need 12 or more teams to change it to paying out to 4th (50%, 25%, 15%, and 10%). I know you are aware of this payment format Brad, since it is your format that I use, but I am clarifying for others as well. If a few outliers decide to play, this could make for one hell of a purse!

Jesse Rhode Administrator	Just to throw a wrinkle in to the August 25th DYP event (with the extra 500.00 for those that qualify), I have decided to make all other events in August BYP except for the 25th! Why? 'Cause it makes me laugh! Please note, however, that I will still be having Singles events on August 4th, and August 18th.

8/5/2017 Topic: Duke's DYP SPECIAL Event on August 25th. Jesse Rhode Administrator	Here are the 16 players that have qualified for the DRAW YOUR PARTNER tournament at Duke's on August 25th. There is a slight problem though, at least 1 on this list will not be able to make the event (Mighty Mo). Bob D and Kevin M are the next closest in attendance with 14 events. I WAS considering doing a random draw of sorts, to determine who would fill the missing person (to avoid X man). HOWEVER, after thinking about what Rissa V asked me, I was wondering if Bob and Kevin should play a singles match for entry OR would you both rather have a random draw? Furthermore, is there anyone else on this list that feels like they are unable to attend that would make everything I just said meaningless?! lol. I have talked with many on the list, I will endeavor to reach out to the rest in the next couple of days. Jesse Rhode Administrator	I meant to post this on Monday, when I actually wrote it (save for the changes I noted after noting Rissa's points)...utter failure! Even had a discussion with Brad about it. I seem to recall the conversation ending with Brad saying, "You need to post that shit right away!" Don't even know wtf I did that caused me to not actually post what I wrote. Had it on my OneNote though, so at least it made it to the forums eventually. Sorry! I blame drugs! ALL OF THEM! Though, really, it was the two unexpected/yet expected hospital visits, a change in my professional life, and the kids going back to school that really threw every plan I had out the damn window along with the proverbial kitchen sink! 8/12/2017 Topic: Thirsty Lion Jesse Rhode Administrator	Just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for the patience to set up the tables. In particular, I wanted to give a huge shout out to Michael Lawrence. Dude helped me move the tables in the middle of the day in August! We about fucking killed ourselves, but it got done. In addition, there were a few people helping me after the tournament...Steve from El Jimador, Stefan, and Matt were all a huge help. I can't stress it enough, my thanks for the help is sincere! On another equally important note, I hope everyone will take some time to thank Bryan Hendricks for all the work he is putting in on Netfoos, Wefoos, and recording the matches. I realize many take for granted the things that take place behind the scene, so to speak, but Bryan has made all of these events run efficiently. Buy the dude a drink in thanks! If its a tournament, buy him more than one so he can't play foos for shit! Just kidding...kinda! Anyways, our foos community has really stepped it up with this event. So, thanks to everyone for being involved really. Everywhere else they ran these events things were, lets just say, not really what most of us could tolerate! Due to our cohesive foos community, and definitely Steve for saving our tournament format, we managed to put together a string of events that seems far superior to the other regions. We should all revel in that a bit.
