BillyBoy Administrator	************************************************************* TORNADO TABLE GIVEAWAY WEEKEND JULY 6-8 ************************************************************* One of our local foosers, Stephen Taylor, has decided to be a serious bad ass and give away his old practice table to a lucky fooser! The prize table is a Tornado Whirlwind home model. Steve has requested that the table be given to a new player with less than a 4.0 league rating. DETAILS: Table will be awarded via a lottery style drawing on July 8, 2018 at the Loft Again. To be eligible for the drawing, players must have a local league rating below 4.0 (average rating between June 6 - July 6). Players will receive one entry/ticket for each sponsored event they participate in on the weekend of July 6 - 8. (Max 3 entries.) BillyBoy Administrator	$150 BONUS PRIZE MONEY FOR MONSTER DYP THIS WEEKEND! *Arizona Foosball* will start hosting the new MONSTER DYP format in the coming months. For those who aren't familiar with it, it resembles the popular *Interim League* Round Robin events that we ran over the past off seasons. Players are paired every round with a different partner. You will then play a match (usually a game to 7 or 10) with that partner, and the winners of the match are awarded points. At the end of the tournament, the top scoring players team up for a dramatic playoff. Our next MONSTER DYP will take place this Saturday at Stinger's, and an additional $150 will be added to the prize fund. Check the calendar in the "Coming Events" section for more details and to sign up early. Hope to see you guys and gals there this weekend for a great time! P.S. Although I could answer some of your questions in a general sense regarding typical methods used in round robin styled events, most of those are often tunable (e.g., tie-breakers, methods of pairing, etc.) and may vary at times. As you probably know, I'm not as involved in directing tournaments lately as I used to be, and as far as what is typically used in the "Monster" style event(s) I am not yet sure of myself. I will talk with Ronnie and Jesse and we will make a point to more precisely address your questions in an upcoming post. Thanks as always for your interest and dedication!
