Final Weekend at Duke's in Scottsdale!

BillyBoy

As many of you know, this Friday will be the last tournament at our premiere foosball location, Duke's Sports Bar, in Scottsdale!

It's been a great run, and we'd like to thank the owners, Al and Jackie, for their incredible support of Arizona Foosball for the past three years. AZ Foosball is currently searching for another good foosball venue in the East valley. In the meantime, we will probably have a few weeks of only two tournaments a week - so get your rest now while you can! Also, as we investigate some new venues, please do not hesitate to offer suggestions on East side locations that you think may serve us well and we will check into them smile

This Friday is OPEN SINGLES and OPEN DYP. The DYP will feature $150 added to the prize fund by Jesse Rhode, Del Compton and Brad Laurine. Thanks to all three of you guys for such a generous contribution. Let's have a great time and close out this chapter with an event to remember!

Due to our move out of Duke's on April 25 (and the loss of the last two Phoenix Tour events at Duke's), we have extended the tour's completion date by one week in order to replace the two lost events with an additional Friday and Sunday. All calendars and tour promotions have been updated on the site. smile

Help Wanted for Duke's Move!

BillyBoy

Due to a few last minute surprises, we are looking for 2 or 3 players who could spare a few hours on Thursday to help move some tables out of Duke's (and possibly Stinger's). If you are able to help we will give you free tournament or league entries (for a few weeks or months, depending on how much help we need!).

Also, if you would like to have a T2000/T3000 upgrade at your house for a few weeks or months, you can have one for free if you can pick it up and drop it back off when we are ready to place it once again in a league venue!

Please contact me or Jesse ASAP if you are interested in either of the above. Thanks!

Phoenix Tour Adjustments

BillyBoy
BillyBoy

Due to some recent changes and cancellations at Duke's and Loft, I just wanted to let players know that the Tour may be slightly adjusted (in accordance with the Tour Rules ). Initially the tour was set for 38 events, with players' top 35 performances counting toward their final score. In order to accommodate the loss of the Duke's venue (and the last 2 tour events scheduled there), we simply added another weekend to the schedule. In addition, we had a recent cancellation at the Loft, so presently there are only 37 events scheduled.

The TDs have discussed this and we decided it was sensible to allow an adjustment to 37 events minimum, but to reschedule if necessary to make sure we do not drop below 37 in total.

So, at present, the Tour is planned to complete with 37 events (players' top 35 performances counting toward their final score).

Take Home a "FREE" T2000/3000 Coin Op!

Yes, you probably noticed the quotes around "FREE" in the subject line! LOL... Here's the deal:

We have moved the T3000s out of Duke's and will be transferring them to Stinger's in short time. As we do this, we will probably have two or three of the T2000/3000 upgrades from Stinger's without a home for awhile. So we are offering a special ONE TIME ONLY deal!! If you would like to keep one of these babies at your place to practice for a few weeks or months, you can do so for FREE(!) if you can pick it up and drop it back off when we are ready to place it once again in a league/tournament venue!
