Come to Clicks on League nights and play some pickup games while we are between games or before we get started. I think there are league matches there each Tuesday and some Wednesday nights. At least for the next 4 weeks or so. |

I've been using the TTR and Foosball.com wraps for a few years now. I have been changing from one to another and back. I got some of those black, tacky TTR wraps recently and I like them. Well, I guess I like the tackiness and the thinness but they stick to themselves so much that they rip and shred when I take them off the handles.
I was talking to Dan Rayment the other night. He uses "Yonex" wraps. Yonex calls them "Graps" and they are for Badmitton racquets. They are tacky, the stretch slightly, and he told me they are durable.
I found this site on the internet: TennisPlaza.com They sell the Yonex wraps in a 3 pack for about 3 bucks and a 30 roll for about 27 bucks. All orders have free shipping. Sounds like a good deal so I wanted to share it with you.

I am the 2009 League Stud. Even though I had my sites set on this honor the whole time I have to admit that without my teammates, I would not have done it. Look at the stats: low in singles, low in forward shootout, and did I even win one goalie war? So all things considered, I won only when I was playing as a teammate. I am a Teammate.
I applaud the leagues for promoting the most important aspects of foosball: getting new players involved, giving all players the opportunity to learn and practice, giving us all an extra social outlet to build friendships, and giving all of us a chance to bond with our partners. Bond or lose, as I see it.
So for this season I wish to thank Tom Husband and Scot McCleland for supporting me when it counted most and encouraging me when the game seemed lost.

I visit Flag a couple of times a year. My favorite micro-brew changed hands and names. I went in their the other night to see if they still have a table. Wow, was I surprised to find a brand new T-3000 sitting there!
I couldn't play on it because they were having their "tekno rave" night (each first Friday during the Flagstaff artwalk) so the table was pushed up against the wall with a blanket over it.
But I look forward to playing on it soon!

Each Friday since the table got installed has some locals playing with us. It's been a fun time!
Oh, and there are alot of unaccompanied women there too. All ages.
Just thought I would mention that.
