You can now sign up for AZ Foosball events via text message or email!

By pre-registering with this method you can also save money on entry fees, win prizes, see the list of other players who have signed up, etc.

Simply text (or email) the word “register” to [email protected] and you will be automatically registered for that day’s Arizona Foosball event or tournament. Note that you must register in order to see the list of other players who are going. You can also re-send the command at any time to get an updated player list.

Happy foosing!

How can you txt message to an email address? Shouldn't you provide a number to text to?

Doesnt work. Should i be getting a response email back? I sent an email with a subject line "register" and nothing happened. Then i sent one with "register" in the body, and nothing happened. What I supposed to expect?

You did it right, Zeke. I am currently making some changes so I have the Message Service off.

I will have it going soon. I'll also send a little message about pre-registering for Phoenix/Tucson when I'm done. You should have it by morning.

Sorry for the hiccup, and see you tomorrow!

About your questions/observations:

1) Presently, you have to text to [email protected]. In theory I support direct SMS, I do not have the hardware for it, so I am currently using only SMS text-to-mail gateway.
2) You can write in subject or body, and should be parsed fine.
