Foosers -
I have attached a proposal for an Arizona State Foosball Championship from Feb 22-24. I have attached the rough details below. I am still in negotiations with IFP for Vegas Packages for Beginner, Amateur and Rookie players and attempting to work with other sponsors to secure custom jerseys for all the event champs. Entry fees for individual events are listed below the event. Packages for all divisions would be $65 dollars plus a 25 dollar table and registration fee.
Please take a look at the proposal below and provide feedback. Also let me know if you would consider attending the event.
Thanks - Brad Chamberlain

I will use the highest IFP rating for package consideration. If the person is split between divisions I will deal with that on an individual basis. The intention of the beginner category is to let the beginners have a legit tournament event for beginner level players.
We have several beginners here that I may not allow to play because there skill level is much higher than that of a beginner, they just have either not toured in a while or have never toured. If your a true beginner I would ask your local TD to contact me to give me an official evaluation of his/her skill level. I have just recently gotten a slew of questions regarding this category so I should have something firm shortly.
Hope this helps.

Subject: T2000 upgraded to T3000 standard?
chambie
|
Hi Dave -
The t3000 tables are the new standard that tornado produces. The differences between the tables are as follows.....
The men have some minor changes in the foot. The bearings are a bit tighter and slimmer so when executing a wall pass the ball does not slip by your man so much. The side strips are not raised and sloped as much as they were on the t2000 making it easier to control balls off the wall and shoot bank shots
There may be a few other changes that I omitted.
When upgrading you buy a kit and replace all the old parts with the new t3000 parts and walla, you have an upgraded t2000.
Hope that helps.

So teams can practice together for AZ State, the no two pro byp will just become a straight up byp for tonites tourney. Also there will be a bounty placed on any two pro team. An additional 20 dollars will be given to any team that either puts them in the losers bracket, or stops them from winning the tournament.... |
