Wandad's Goodbye Party

Hi Everyone -
Our friend Wandad will be leaving us soon as he is returning to his native land. I will be hosting a party at my house on Saturday December 13th to send him off right! The plan is as follows...
- Golf at the Duke at 1 PM (Call me if interested 39 bucks a head)
- Cookout at 5:30 at my place (I will have some chicken but bring your own grill items if you wish)
- Foosball Tourney at 7 PM (Must be present to play - 2 T-3000 tables) (DYP with 5 dollar entry)
- Poker Tourney following foosball

I want to thank everyone for attending Wandad's going away party at my place this past Saturday. The turnout was great and I believe everyone had a good time. You all treated my home with respect and I am looking forward to doing it again in the future. I will post results from both the party and the CM sometime this afternoon.

Extra Event added to CM this Friday

Hello and Merry Christmas to all!
Since we were unable to do singles last week I have decided to add it to the event tomorrow. Singles will start at 7 and DYP at 8:30. I have brought the 4th table back to the moon so we are ready to go. I will have freshly refurbed balls in the tables and will be doing a table fee. Five dollars for both events and four dollars for a single event. All table fees will be added to the prize structures!
Singles entry costs are 12 for Pro/10 for experts/7 for AM/5 for beginners - top placing beginner or am, not in the money, will get double their entry fee back.
DYP entry costs are 10 for Pro/Ex -8 for AM - 5 for beginners
The moon has some amazing new drink specials with dollar drinks from 10 PM till Midnight. Come out and enjoy the fun!

Foosers -
I just spent the last 6 hours at the CM refurbishing the tables....
- All broken men and bad bumpers have been replaced (12 yellow men, 5 black men, 14 bumpers)
- All tables have been lowered and re-leveled
- The best two tables are now in the front positions
- Resealed three of the walls on the old table, not so many soft spots in the walls now on that one
- Tables have been cleaned inside and out, all bearings have been cleaned
- Replaced all balls with new (refurbed balls) as of today
- Ordered drink racks for the tables, should be here by 1/6/15

Joe I agree with you as well. Billy I think that change should be immediate for the rest of the tour. As far as people throwing matches I believe it does happen but it's almost impossible to detect. My concern would be how do we enforce that I really don't see it. |
