Brad, With just the 3 tables we were concerned about getting out of there on time. Maybe we can start earlier, I will let you know, but for now just doubles. Azrocket, We didn't have many options and so for some it will be better and for some it will be worse. I hope the date works out for more people than it does not work for. |

The DYP on Saturday, June 4, 2011, is going to be labeled the Adam Reicheg Memorial Tournament. Adam was a very good friend of mine. A spirit of happeness, competitiveness and sportmanship. I would call him or he would call me every week to see what was happening in the foos scene. When I last went to vegas he was the only one I called and I miss him so. Please join me in Tucson at Bedroxx for the Adam Reicheg Memorial Tornament DYP $10 entry and give honor to a fallen fooser. . Adam was a very good friend of mine. Phoenix/Tucson Foosball Challenge Results June 25, 2011 Once again Bedroxx, Arizona’s Premier Foosball Location, was family friendly, foos friendly. The band was great, the seating and room for the tables along with the table play was also great. Bedroxx provided T-shirts for a few of the kids that came with the foosers and also some for the players along with a few gift certificates. Finished around 11pm and there was even a break of an hour or so between Singles and Doubles so players could have a break and grab some food. Below is what happened and we look forward to seeing the Phoenix players at their new location of Cactus Moon on July 9th for their BYP. Thanks to all that came out!!! Singles 9 players 3 – Phoenix, 6 – Tucson The first 3 matches pitted Tucson vs Phoenix on all three tables. We had Brad going against Kathy, TJ against Gordie, Mike Rousseau against Eric B. All the matches were hard fought battles as they all went 3 games. Phoenix started out hot as they won all 3 matches. As things went on the close matches continued as Brad took John (Pinalyzer) to the brink as John barely pulled out a victory but not before both players were exhausted. TJ rolled to the king seat by beating Gordie, John and then Rhett. After losing in the 3rd round John came back and beat Mike, Brad (again) and Rhett in a classic battle of old guys. In the finals it went two matches and John came out ahead beating TJ for the Open Singles Title and handing Tucson a $75 to $40 early lead in the Phoenix/Tucson Foosball Challenge! 1st John (Pinalyzer) Davis - $60 2nd TJ Tellas - $40 3rd Rhett Herring - $15 4th Brad Chamberlin Doubles 10 teams 3 – Phoenix, 5 – Tucson, 2 Mixed Once again a lot of matches early on featured Tucson vs Phoenix matches. Randy and Bill against Brad and Eric B, Nick and Pat H against Teddy and Stewart, With both Randy and Nick’s teams coming out ahead. As it would turn out John and Rhett beat Nick and Pat for their side of the bracket in a tough fought match where the goalies ran the show. Pat put on a clinic in goal and John worked hard to keep up. It came down to the 3rd game where John and Rhett put together a few shots and blocks to take it down. Randy and Bill worked their side of the bracket beating TJ and Joe to reach the winners final. John and Rhett took the king seat and faced a tough determined Nick and Pat team in the finals. With Rhett hammering pull shots and Pat and Nick switching up to find a formula to win it went 3rd game first set with John and Rhett giving Tucson the victory in the Phoenix/Tucson Foosball Challenge and win back the Trophy. 1st Rhett Herring & John (Pinalyzer) Davis - $125 2nd Nick Bourdos & Pat Hudson - $70 3rd Randy Stark & Bill Mitts - $40 4th Teddy Hicks & Stewart Kent - $30 Tucson - $270 Phoenix - $110 |

Zeke I am just an old man that is a little sick. Easy money for anyone I figure, much less a force on the table such as you. But I battle on the table and take what I can so we will see how far a little luck and effort can take someone. |
