This was a fun little tourney. Brad Laurine from Fireball Foosball was down to visit and talk about the Fireball table. We are looking to make this a regular tournament as the bar will support it. However I can't be there on Monday's to run it. If anyone is interested in running it please let me know. Also could move it to another day as well if there is more interest there.

Hello Foosers - There has been some interest in having a week day tournament at the Cactus Moon. With that said I am listing some of the recent developments at the bar and have attached a survey for what day would be best for a weekday tourney.
- The bar will support a weekday tournament by adding 3 dollars for every player in the tourney, same as Friday night.
- The bar is allowing us to put two additional tables in the facility (I am hoping to order the tables this week, I will keep you all posted)
- Please see the attached survey to pick the best day for the tourney.
Your support of Arizona Foosball has been fantastic as shown by the attendance of both tournaments and the influx of new league players. I appreciate your support and look forward to bigger and better things in the future.

I skipped Thursday because we have a Friday and Saturday tournaments already, and my thought process is to attempt to spread the tourneys out a bit and not have them stacked on top of each other. However I'm not opposed to anything that will work. Fooser4fun who are you anyhow

That is what I thought - Im glad Tuesday is winning because I want to keep the tournament and leagues on seperate nights if possible.

The Cactus Moon will make up shirts for us with our names and some sort of AZ foosball logo on the front and the cactus moon logo on the back. I have asked for black polo shirts.

Bill - I got it. In looking at the schedule you are not finishing up until May most likely start summer league in June or July. We could go Tuesday for now and change it up 6 months or so down the line when league starts up again. |

Hello....I have been getting some questions on seeding and points lately. With that said I have posted the local points. These points are generated off of the ELO system at Netfoos.com. I used Dan's points that he was keeping for the two years as a starting point. Beginner players not in the database started at 700 points. Others start at 900, 1000, 1200, 1500, 1800 based on their skill level.
Since then I have placed all of the Cactus Moon tournaments in the Netfoos database and used those results to allow the database to calculate points. There are a few of the stingers tournaments in there as well. Bill if you decide to enter more stingers tournaments in the database let me know and I will post updated points. Players if you do not want your points listed please contact me.

Tuesday Night Foosball

Foosers! I would like to announce Tuesday Night Foosball at the Cactus Moon. This will be a No-Pro tournament with entries between 5 and 10 bucks depending on the tournament type. This first Tuesday will be a DYP with a five dollar entry. Subsequent tournaments will be posted on the site and we will develop a regular rotation of tournies. The bar will continue to contribute 3 bucks per player and give us drink specials. Half of the bar donation will be cash, the other half will be vouchers.
The tourney will start at 7 PM sharp with sign ups at 6:30. Hope to see you there.

I think it will continue to stay good thru Vegas. We are in the process of getting two more tables. Should be in by the end of next week. We have had 80 different players play here since May of last year when we started. |
