Casey, to clarify, I only determined the high-low designations to players that did not have local points, after their first tournament, they would have been assigned starting points which then would increase/decrease based on performance in the DYPs. If you showed up at main st more than once or twice, you would have noticed that. |

Also, to clarify- local points on netfoos are not applied at regional/national tournaments. You only earn points on VIFA or IFP by playing in the tournaments sponsored by them. So even if you're a local pro and play at a VIFA/IFP event for the first time, you would still be ranked as a rookie.
It's a hot topic though, since a few European/Canadian pro-masters (on tornado or different tables) have played in U.S. VIFA/IFP events for the first time, sandbagging US rookies (and even semis), which is another reason to have worldwide ITSF points to prevent the unfairness. |

Hey all-
Jeff Harvey passed away yesterday, he committed suicide by jumping off Camelback Mountain. Hopefully he's in a better place now.
I'll post funeral arrangements when I find out more details.
