Like Steve said you have put in your table time, unlike me, and you deserve more than anybody to be the "World Champion Semi Single". Congrats Zeke, well done.
This takes heart and dedication all I wish I could have myself but up to this day I could not commit.
I also have heard the San Diego story being told by some of the, as Steve mentioned, the AZ fooser haters...which did not include Billy at this time.
But Billy and of course Steve are very outspoken and voice their opinions openly which is commendable and annoying sometime, so its understandable that the haters version of this event had to come up one day  .
San Diego is way in the past, long live the current World Champ...hats off Zeke

In my opinion continuity of a State Championships name is important
…every Fooser knows what and where “the Hall of Fame” championship is…it’s in bloody Vegas!!!
So we had it named “Desert Classic” sounded good to me and Yeah we live in the fn Desert….keep it that way.
my vote is Desert Classic. Changing it makes no sense. |

Upgrade kit comes also with the latest plastic handles.
Big improvment as they have a standard weight and are grippier than the old plastic ones. |

wooden handles had a big disadvantage...their weight was from 1 ounce to 3.5 ounces all different ...every rod could have hit differnet.
Plastic now is around 3oz. much more consistent from rod to rod!!! |
