What happened to some foosers that used to play regularly in the local scenes for example Lou York. He kinda disappeared and i havent seen him on tour. What about Arnold Ortiz?

Haha, I like how the pinalyzer dominated the month of August (taking 5 1st places, 2 3rd places) and only gaining 20 pts. Dont worry Pinalyzer
10 more pts and you'll catch up to cowboy. I on the other hand, managed to stay exactly even.
And by the way Dan, can you not call it local points. Since I see Trevor Park ranked #1 and on the list, and Trinidad Esquivel an old time fooser who made a one time apperance up on the list.
Let's call it the regional points or something more descriptive. I mean, really, to have all these one time or once every 4 months foosers on the list that dont even live in Tucson on the list is somewhat
silly for a LOCAL points list. The local points list should be for tucson foosers. Oh and I agree with Eric, he is way overrated on this list. He should still be at beginner IMO.

Thanks John. I cant wait to get the DVD. It was a good way to redeem myself. I was affected mostly by a newer wrap I used saturday and sunday that didnt seem to absorb the sweat, so my 3 suffered, and shot poorly in other events.
Finally, on Monday I went back to using one of the older wraps i brought along with me, and my shot went back to normal. So it was a good way to finish off the tournament in a positive note. There were a lot of tough teams, with a bunch of good pro's.

Yo Billy. Since the new USTSA points came out, I'm assuming you will use those to seed singles. I think you usually seed the top 3 or so players, not sure but here it is (for singles)

Well Kudos to Billy for actually posting that the tournament will be strictly started at 3:30! This means that the bracket should be drawn up by 3:29, and matches will start on time. If this is actually true, this would be an unprecedented event in Arizona foosball history. I've never
been a part of a local tournament that started anywhere close to the advertised time. With that said, i'm planning on being there about 1/2 hr early. If i'm not, i'll give Billy a call or any other fooser that is present in the room. You never know with traffic, but hopefully it will be a smooth ride.
So just put me down and start all the other matches, i'm expecting a bye first round (or to play TJ first round, same difference)

Just wanted to give props to Billy, Mike and whoever else helped run the tournament. No doubt, to me this was the best Phoenix or Tucson run tournament we've ever had. It was great having the 5 tables. Most importantly
it was great actually starting fairly on time. Singles was pretty much winding in about 3 hours which was really cool. The best part about it was that people still seemed to be having fun playing pick up games since there were tables
available, and there was even room to do an extra DYP! It was real cool to see the Albuquerque and El Paso foosers. That's hard core that they came out and definitely made the event more fun bringing more competition to this
event. Also how nice is it to not be all rushed to have to finish certain events, and not have to play race to 7. The whole thing was done at around 12:45am, which is probably record time. This definitely makes it enjoyable to play.
Good job guys.
Also want to give props to the Pinalyzer (aka the Wall-of-China-alzyer) for doing what he does best, bricking opposing forwards.

I think last time it paid to 5/6 as well. To tell you the truth I dont really care, and actually i think it's ok to give money back to 5/6 when you have 16 or more teams. I'm not really there for the money. I was more thrilled about
how smooth the tournament ran, and the fact that we had a good level of competition all around. Good job on getting 3rd TJ and Joe.

Can somebody with access to this website change the picture in the front page? I like John and Hassan, but that damn picture has been there since June!!!! It's almost october.
Can i get access so I can make changes? I'd like to be an admin and help keep this page more updated.
