A note about the Loft Again

I want to let all the foosers know something about the Loft Again: a great and popular venue for foosball.

I live close to the Loft and when I want a drink or a burger i stop by. I have gotten to know many of the quirky and interesting people there. The Loft has a nice smoking area: shelter from weather, tables and chairs, an evaporative cooler, and folks can take their drinks out there with them. Often the smoking area has more customers than the main inside area.

The path from the bar to the smoking area runs right along the foosball tables. For six days a week all the smokers can wander past the tables to get to their temporary destination. so when we are there playing we usually stand in that path. When I am there socially, this issue comes up often. The regular Loft folks need that path and the regular foosers need that viewing area. There is a friction.

I feel that we should be more sensitive to this.

I'm not saying that we should not enjoy others games close up, I am suggesting that we watch for this normal traffic and be ready to move out of the way. it just takes a second.
