Hey foosers

Boulders Bountygate started last week and here are the rules

It will take place twice a month during the Boulders DYP.

The first one was last Friday. I added 20 to the pot.

Date 10/4/19
Bounty Claimed - No
Carryover Pot $44.00

Rules -

To participate in Bountygate DYP you must pay an additional 3 dollars on top of your regular entry fee for the tournament.

The team with the highest Boulders ELO points is the Mark, meaning the bounty is on them. In order to claim the bounty you must eliminate the Mark from the tournament before the finals.

If the Mark wins the tournament they get 50% of the weekly bounty pot. i.e. if we have 10 players pay 3 dollars and the Mark wins the event they get an additional 15 dollars, the rest carries over.

To claim the bounty the Mark must be eliminated before the final round.

If the Mark makes the final round and loses the 50% of the weekly take goes to the team that beat the mark in the final.

There is no splitting or working out deals with opponents in an attempt to get the pot. An honest effort must be made by the all players. If it is discovered that a deal was worked out to split the pot between two teams, the pot will be withheld, the offending teams suspended from Boulders events for 30 days, and they will not be allowed in any special future promotions. Honesty and integrity and what make this work please give an honest effort.

If an individual is the Mark 4 times and wins all 4 events that they were the mark in that person wins the entire pot. Does not have to be consecutive just the first to 4 wins before the pot is claimed.

If you participate and your partner does not you get half the team winnings, the remainder carries over.

Additional rules may be added as the game progresses to ensure a fair and level playing field.

If you have any questions ease feel free to contact me.
